Celebrate free Sunday at Vizcaya Museum

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the European-inspired estate on Biscayne Bay, opens its gates to the public free of charge on September 30th for a day of history, art and culture. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and share insights on agricultural industrialist James Deering 1916 winter home on Biscayne Bay.
During the morning, there will be a talk by renowned Historian Dr. Paul George of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida who will bring to life the early days of Biscayne Bay and the story of Renaissance man Commodore Ralph Munroe. In the afternoon, the whole family will enjoy a vocal performance by Miami based Arts at St. John's and a pipe organ concert by Jay Brooks. For the little ones, there will be workshops on arts and crafts making, and a lot of history to discover.
